Val d’Orcia excels in food and wine. Our guests can enjoy tastings of typical products of the area, as well as the most renowned wines from our land: Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and finally our Fiore del Moro and Moro di San Giovanni.
In addition to wine, this area is also known for extra virgin olive oil, white truffles, saffron, pork from the unique breed of pig known as Cinta Senese, a variety of beef named Chianina and sheep fed fresh grass and herbs, which produce a wide selection of “Pecorino” cheese known all over the world.
Our guests can take advantage of guided tours in the neighbouring villages such as San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulciano, Montalcino and more and more.

A440 In Tuscany is a part of Il Moro di san Giovanni that not only produce an excellent grand Tuscan wine, but is located in one of the most renowned places for truffle research.
Depending on the seasons it’s possible to organize tours to discover the secrets and places where this delicious mushroom is born. We will be happy to show you the special bond that unites the truffle-hole with the uncontaminated nature and the special relationship with his dog.
During the research we will reveal you the different types of truffles present in Tuscany, its seasonality, its natural habitat and we will offer you an unique experience!
